CME SOLAR AND SEAREFICO JSC SIGNED THE PARTNERSHIP TO PROMOTE THE INSTALLATION OF ROOFTOP SOLAR ENERGY ACROSS VIETNAM

CME Solar JSC, a leading renewable energy company in Vietnam, has announced a new partnership with Searefico JSC, a giant E&C group.
The joint development agreement, signed on 11 May 2023, will see the two partners collaborate on a venture producing 100 MWp of rooftop solar installations across Vietnam with a total investment of around US$200 million over the next few years. The partnership aims to support CME Solar's aspirations of becoming a major nationwide investor in renewable energy from commercial to business. For Searefico, the joint venture represents a significant step towards its vision of becoming a leading constructor in installing solar in Vietnam.

The joint venture's primary objective is to promote the installation of rooftop solar energy throughout Vietnam. Rooftop solar energy systems provide significant benefits, including reducing dependence on traditional energy sources, reducing carbon emissions, and providing clean and sustainable electricity. By expanding the market for rooftop solar energy, CMES, and Searefico are accelerating Vietnam's transition to renewable energy and contributing to the global effort to combat climate change.

Both parties share a commitment to reach Net Zero by 2050 and have the same core values of bringing the best green energy solutions to communities. CME Solar has always followed the Net Zero Roadmap since its establishment, aiming to reduce carbon emissions for communities and clients while also offering financial solutions that provide clients with discounts compared to the national grid.
